If you haven’t heard the news (or watched FOX at some point in the past 24 hours) — then let us be the ones to break the good news: O.J. Simpson is back. In a big way. He’s riding a Bronco of publicity back into the American people’s hearts, with a book and TV specials on the way. And we can’t wait.
A two-part interview with The Juice will be aired on Nov. 27 and Nov. 29. It called — are you ready — “If I Did It, Here’s How it Happened.” His book, “If I Did It” will go on sale on Nov. 30. Just in time for Christmas.
Before all you naysayers begin shouting “boycott,” let us remember that is was the American legal system that acquitted Simpson in the murder trial of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. It was the American public glued to their TV sets and lining the streets of Los Angeles cheering him on. And Mr. Simpson has spent the last decade of his life trying to track down the killer(s).
So maybe it’s about time we let Simpson back in from the doghouse. He obviously needs a hug or something. Why else would he try and explain hypothetically how he would commit the crime, if he hypothetically did it.
We can’t wait to see what the ratings are for O.J. tv — can you?
