I haven’t had anything new to say in awhile. I’m happy that Fall has begun to arrive here in Seattle. Things at work are somewhat in stasis. The usual suspects and the one that brown noses continue to treat me like a pariah while with everyone else things are fine. I started a new part-time job recently at a local bookstore. I’m really much more excited about this than I am my regular job. The pay is better than I would have expected the thing that gets me jazzed is that I get to be around books. I’d say it was less cerebral but it isn’t just a different kind. I love all things computers they appeal to my analytic nature. They make sense to me. Books on the other hand are just way more interesting.

So most of my time now is consumed with work. The hope is that eventually I’ll drop to half-time or move to a different department within the city. Now if only I could drop some of this extra weight.
