a letter to mom

Mom,

I finally saw the Passion. It was certainly intense. I’m glad I saw it. Things here are going well. The schedule for school this semester is much better than last quarter. I like my teachers, I’ve had them both before and they are good. Things at home are going well. Mike has said that he is going to quit smoking once he’s done with the smokes that he has, please keep him in your prayers. His breathing is really bad. I can hear him from my room in the morning. Things are pretty routine here, there is a peace in that. Work School Home Dinner bed repeat. I ask myself sometimes why am I school, and I’m not really sure why? I really enjoy the learning, and the frustration. It’s my experience that it gets harder to learn and retain things as you get older.

I hope things are better for you now that the holidays are over with. I’m sure the boys can be a handful or two. Karen seemed happy to visit, Madison is getting so big every-time I call.

I have to share today was one of those life sucks days. From the minute I got up everything seemed to conspire to make the day unpleasant. I’m happy to be home and away from everyone/thing. I hope that tomorrow is better, things seemed to get better once work ended and I got home. Mike is out tonight, a good thing. It’s been me and the cats/rats. Now its time for bed.

Just a side note. It seemed that things with my dad were getting better. I got a card and we spoke on Xmas. However, I haven’t heard from him or Nana since. He pretty much died when Nancy did. I gave it my best shot, he doesn’t think it was good enough, big surprise there huh?

Blessing and Love

Ken
