I should probably mention before I head to my bedroom to read, that I went along with Mike to see John Waters give a talk at the Paramount Theatre tonight. It was Mikes birthday present. he had originally wanted tickets for the bearfest thingy going on hear in Seattle, but I just didn’t want to give him that. It was interesting to see John Waters. Most of the material was from his two books but some was original. He spoke about the different artists and actors that he’s worked with. His movies of course and then there was probably the most interesting part of the whole thing, a Q & A from the audience. I enjoyed that the most. I didn’t learn anything other than a few really disgusting things, you know what do you expect seeing John Waters. I bumped into him a number of years ago in Los Angeles at a movie premiere a friend of mine was having. It was for the movie, Outloud, which unfortunately was never released, He was there with Tracy Lords, who I’ve partied with at Mickey’s. She came over to my table with her entourage because she liked the latin boy I was sleeping with at the time. We hung out a few times after that. She was much more private than one would have guessed. The friend that I went to the movie with is Shana Levine, she was the lead actress and it was one of her first and only gigs. She still lives in LA as far as I know, somewhere along the way we’ve lost touch. I hope she does more work.

in spite of my scars, I am tickled to death at life!”
